Gazing upon the white screen, trying to think about something to write for my english teacher, Mr. Fitz. As I think about who I have become since the beginning of the year, I realize only now how far I have Progressed. Not being a strong writer, but hearing positive feedback from my teachers about my writing ability, I soon learned to hone my skills, but much to my dismay, I could not progress in my writing abilities past where they were.
As I walked into B216 the first day of school, I had no idea what to expect. But knowing that I was certainly not one of the smartest people in the class, I was reluctant to share my writing. As I gained comfort in the class, and began to understand what the expectations were, I finally started to show a little of who I was as a writer. After much provocation from my mom to see teachers, I saw them as frequently as possible and after much work, I finally getting the results that I wanted to see.
Reflecting upon where I have gotten from trying and succeeding, I realize that what Mr. Fitz says is right, You get out what you put in "Give a Damn," It works.
